Wiz lines refers to the ways in which cartoonists and graphic artists draw shapes and use shaped lines to illustrate or infer specific types of movement e.g. the movement of a figure or animal jumping, a club or hammer being swung, or the firing of a bullet from a gun.

More complex examples of multiple wiz lines are often used to draw explosions and concussions.

They may be accompanied with onomatopoeic words, referencing sounds e.g. Bang, Boom or Whoosh.
